Louie Lee

Louie Lee has a unique professional background as a lawyer with close to 20 years of PQE (post qualification experience) having worked in corporate finance departments at major international law firms, and he has close to 10 years of regulatory experience at the SFC (Securities and Futures Commission) in the Corporate Finance and Investment Products (previously Policy, China and Investment Products) Divisions.
He has worked as the Head of Legal & Compliance of large financial institutions and a leading securities firm (type 1, 2, 4, 6, 9 regulated activities). Moreover, he is a member of the RegTech Committee of the Fintech Association of Hong Kong since 2019.
Mr. Lee holds an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) with Honours from the University of Liverpool and is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
In 2023 Mr. Lee was mentioned in the asialaw ranking 2023 as a 'notable' lawyer.
