Accounting Internship in Hong Kong
Location: Hong Kong SAR
Work Arrangement: On-site
Duration: Minimum 8 consecutive weeks (longer preferred)
Languages: Cantonese & English required

About the Internship
Ravenscroft & Schmierer, a Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2025 & 2026 top‑ranked law firm, offers a hands‑on internship supporting our Notary Public and Head of Compliance. This role provides practical experience in bookkeeping, invoicing, expenses, receipts, transaction processing, and administrative finance support.
You will work alongside our accounting and operations teams, gaining exposure to the internal financial workflows of a modern, multinational law firm. This internship is ideal for candidates seeking to strengthen their accounting fundamentals, build workplace confidence, and develop strong administrative and organisational skills.
Who Should Apply
Please only apply if you:

are Form 5 or above (accounting or bookkeeping certificates are an advantage)

are available for at least 8 consecutive weeks (longer preferred)

can work during term-time

are proficient in Cantonese and English

already hold the right to work in Hong Kong

are a local full-time student or a recent graduate
Candidates from accounting, business, administration, or office support backgrounds are welcome.
Key Responsibilities
You will support the firm’s Accounting Department by assisting with:

processing invoices, client receipts, and expenses
-
updating and maintaining the accounting database and internal records
-
handling transactions, bookkeeping entries, and administrative finance tasks
-
supporting internal operations to ensure accuracy and timely completion
-
coordinating documentation and liaising with internal teams when required
This role requires accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and a strong sense of responsibility, as you will work with sensitive financial information.
