About the Internship

Ravenscroft & Schmierer, a Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2025 & 2026 top-ranked international law firm, offers a hands-on internship for native German speakers seeking exposure to legal research, writing, and multilingual communication. Interns will work closely with our Managing Partner, contributing to research tasks, drafting, and cross-border communication between German‑ and English-speaking clients and colleagues.

This internship provides real experience inside a modern, multinational Hong Kong law firm, offering insights into international workflows and the day-to-day operations of our legal and administrative teams.

Who Should Apply

Please only apply if you:

are a native-level German speaker;
are available full-time for at least 4–6 consecutive weeks (longer preferred);
are fluent in German and English.

Key Responsibilities

You will support the firm by assisting with:

conducting legal research and writing;
assisting with AML (anti–money laundering) checks where required;
drafting and reviewing emails and documents in German and English;
translating documents between German and English;
meeting deadlines and handling tasks independently;
liaising with internal teams and coordinating documentation as needed.

This role requires professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Candidate Profile

Successful applicants will demonstrate:

Native-level German and fluent English proficiency;
Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
High level of confidentiality and discretion;
A proactive, responsible, and "can‑do" attitude;
Ability to work independently and within a team;
Good organisational and time‑management skills;
Familiarity with MS Office, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Chinese language skills are a plus, but not required.
