HR & Admin Internship in Hong Kong 

Location: Hong Kong SAR 
Work Arrangement: Full Time/On Site 
Duration: Mid-October 2026 until at least 31 January 2027 (~3 months), longer preferred

Language Skills: English/Cantonese/Mandarin 

This position is voluntary and unpaid.

About the Internship

Ravenscroft & Schmierer offers an opportunity for a person who are interested in Human Resources and Administration practice in one of Hong Kong's leading law firms.

The successful candidate will support the full spectrum of Human Resources and administration functions including recruitment, on-boarding and off-boarding process.  Maintain and update employee records and filing to ensure accuracy and compliance.  Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

This internship is ideal for candidates who are organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and interested in developing practical skills within a professional services environment.

Who Should Apply

Please only apply if you:

  • Diploma or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or other related disciplines.

  • Can start in mid-October 2026.

  • Are available until at least 31 January 2027 (approximately 3 months), or longer.

  • Are also available for at least three full weekdays per week on-site if applying for a part-time arrangement

  • Shall have the right to work in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

You will support the firm's HR and administration operations by assisting with: 

  • Processing and reviewing internship and employment applications 

  • Managing candidate communications via email, telephone, LinkedIn, Microsoft Teams, and in-person meetings 

  • Scheduling interviews and coordinating recruitment activities 

  • Maintaining accurate digital records and recruitment databases 

  • Filing and organising documentation using SharePoint and OneDrive 

  • Supporting onboarding and administrative processes 

  • Assisting with office administration and operational tasks 

  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders across departments 

  • Preparing reports, spreadsheets, and internal documentation 

  • Supporting compliance and record-keeping requirements 

  • Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion 

  • Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned 

Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Good command of spoken and spoken English/Cantonese/Mandarin.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Chinese Word Processing), SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft Team.

  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks, good communication skills.

  • Independent, responsible, proactive and willing to take initiative.

  • Respect for compliance requirements and professional standards.
